異国より、身に翼がある塵倫という悪鬼が、多数の軍勢を従えて我が国に攻めてきた。そこで多羅智中津彦尊(たらちなかつひこのみこと)が、竹麿(たけまろ)を連れて塵倫征伐に向かう。やがて塵倫が黒雲に乗って現れると、尊は天の羽治弓(はじゆみ)と天の羽波矢(はばや)の威徳をもってこれを退治するという物語。この塵倫という鬼は、女の鬼とされている。
