大阪女学院大学・短期大学　Song Contest 2012

毎年11月に大阪女学院大学と同短期大学の1年生によるEnglish Song Contestが開催されます。発音学のクラス毎に自分たちで選曲し、パフォーマンスを考え、授業時間外に練習を重ねて入賞を目指して盛り上がります。英語関係教員の審査によって発音やパフォーマンス等を評価し、１位〜３位の表彰が行われます。

入試・進路説明会や留学ラウンジなど様々なプログラムが行われました。英語を使ってゲームをしたり、English Native Speakerの先生方と一緒にパン＆ケーキバイキングを食べ、楽しくおしゃべりしながら時間を過ごしたりと、皆さん楽しんでもらえたようです。次回は2013年3月30(土)に春のオープンキャンパスを開催します。皆さま、お越しくださいませ！

大阪女学院大学では、今年も1か月間YMCA香港より2名のインターンシップ生をお迎えしました。彼女たちは滞在中いろいろな経験しました。事務局内でのオフィスワーク、チャペルトーク、オープンキャンパスでの補助業務、大学での授業や大阪女学院中学のESSで中国語クラスのアシスタント、学内スピーキングラウンジでの英会話パートナーの業務を行いました。同年代のインターンシップ生が目的意識を高く持ち、業務をやり遂げる姿は、本学の学生に大きな刺激を与えてくれました。本学での充実した研修、学生の距離の近さを、インタビューから感じ取ってくだされば幸いです。 Two students from universities in Hong Kong were sponsored by the Hong Kong YMCA for a summer internship program at Osaka Jogakuin University in June 2012. They had many experiences while in Osaka, including sightseeing, but more importantly they were assigned various types of office work, spoke at the university during chapel, helped as assistants in various campus programs, and worked as teaching assistants in classes, including Chinese lessons at Osaka Jogakuin Junior High School and cross-cultural studies courses at Osaka Jogakuin University. They also worked in the university’s English Lounge – part of the school’s Self-Access Study Support Center (SASSC). Their sense of purpose in doing the tasks they were assigned impressed the students at Osaka Jogakuin University. They also made a number of friends among OJU students and experienced life in another culture. We hope that this video will help you understand their work and the close relationships that formed between them and students at Osaka Jogakuin University.

大阪女学院大学国際・英語学部で学ぶ留学生に、半年間の学習を終えた感想を聞いてみました。彼女はここでビジネス分野の学習をしていました。インタビュアーも、同じクラスで学んだ女学院生です。本学では専門教育科目の多くを英語を使用言語として展開しているので、海外の留学生が女学院生と広く交わることができることが特徴です。本学での充実した学習、先生と学生の距離の近さ、学生生活の楽しさを、インタビューから感じ取ってくだされば幸いです。 We asked an international student for her impressions during one semester studying Osaka Jogakuin University. at They studied　the area of business, like marketing at Osaka Jogakuin University. The interviewer was one of our graduate students who studied with her. Many of our specialized classes are conducted in English, so a distinctive feature is that students from overseas can interact extensively with our students. We hope that video will help you a sense of the fulfilling study, close relationships between teachers and students, and the joys of student life at Osaka Jogakuin University.
